The W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, Black Star Square, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial, and the National Museum of Ghana — with welcome lunch and dinner.
Day 4
Free day in Accra
Explore on your own, or join the optional Krobo beads workshop and Akosombo river cruise with lunch.
Day 5
To Kumasi via a cacao farm
Tour a sustainable cacao plantation (bean tasting included) on the road to Kumasi.
Day 6
Kumasi & Adanwomase
Manhyia Palace, the largest market in West Africa, and the Kente-weaving village of Adanwomase.
Day 7
Armed Forces Museum
Kumasi Fort and the story of the Anglo-Ashanti wars, then a free afternoon — optional Lake Bosomtwe excursion.
Day 8
Assin Manso & Cape Coast
A moving visit to the Assin Manso Slave River — the Last Bath and Memorial Wall of Return — before continuing to the coast.
Day 9
Cape Coast Castle
Guided tour of the UNESCO-listed castle and the Door of No Return, with lunch supporting the Baobab Children's Foundation.
Day 10
Kakum National Park
Walk the rainforest canopy bridges high above the forest floor, then enjoy a free afternoon and dinner.
Days 11–12
Global Mamas & home
Return to Accra, visit fair-trade Global Mamas, share a farewell lunch, and fly home.
